Sunset Clear Kayak or Paddleboard in Orlando
Overview
Lake Ivanhoe offers one of the most unique paddling environments in Orlando. Unlike many Florida waterways, this lake system has no current, no boat traffic, and no alligators — creating a calm and comfortable setting ideal for beginners, families, and first-time paddlers.
The front lake features stunning skyline views of downtown Orlando, especially during golden hour when the city reflects across the water. As you continue into the back lake, the scenery shifts to a more peaceful residential landscape with beautiful waterfront homes and a quieter, tucked-away feel.
This combination of urban views and tranquil waters makes Lake Ivanhoe a favorite among Orlando locals. It offers the rare chance to experience both the energy of the city and the calm of nature — all within minutes of downtown.
