Orlando Christmas

The joyous ambiance and shimmering waters for our cherished memories. Amazing decorations and the twinkling lights. What a memorable tour.

It is a small town with lot of history behind. People are friendly and lots of Mom and Pop shops. Fantastic wax mueseum. We felt it was on par or better than Madamme Tussaud in London

We have just returned home (UK) from a 12 day break to Orlando, we do not do the parks, but for the past 10 years have relied on Cool Destinations for our sightseeing and repeat trips to various locations we link in Florida.This year was the first time we have been able to book the Gingerbread, Ice and Snowfall tour with Cool Destinations and we can honestly say it did not disappoint.First of all Ishmael (our tour guide for a second tour this holiday) took us to a couple of the most amazing Disney Hotels to look at their Christmas trees and Gingerbread houses, followed by a trip to the Gaylords Palm resport to experience the Ice Sculptures, which were truly amazing. The evening was topped by a visit to Celebration where we were able to watch snow fall at 6pm and again at 7pm before leaving the area to return to our hotel.Ishmael made this tour extra special for us, he knows the areas so well and is able to give great commentary along the way which is always great to learn a bit more about the areas we are visiting, as well as hints and tips about things to look out for.We had Ishmael take us on another tour a few days earlier and he greeted us for this tour like long lost friends, so completley genuine and a lovely guy. We would look forward to seeing him again in the future next time we come back to Orlando.I cannot recommend this tour enough if you are visiting Orlando during the festive holiday period.Well done Cool Destinations and thank you to Ishmael for looking after us so well.

Beautiful lights! So many great restaurants to choose from like Harry’s, Colombia, Casa Reina. Gorgeous old city. Trolley ride & singing Christmas songs, so fun. Ismael, our driver, was WONDERFUL! Thanks for a great experience.

We were picked up at the hotel. Then set off to St Augustine we stopped part way as the journey is approx 2hrs ( but well worth it) I must say the tour guides are very knowledgable . We arrived and had plenty of time to take a good look around before we joined the queue which was quite long for the Holly Jolly ride. As we were boarding the ride each person received a pair of 3d sunglasses. We went all around St Augustine seeing thousands of lights which were amazing and the 3d glasses made it even better, everyone was singing to the christmas songs along the way. When we reached the end everyone was given a cookie and a warm drink of apple cider. A truely amazing

First of all we were picked up at the hotel. Then headed towards the Grand Floridian to see the gingerbread house which was amazing. Our tour guide also took us on the monorail to different hotels pointing out the show of small but amazing gingerbread models. Then off to Gaylord Palms where the truly amazing ice sculptures and ice slides were on exiting we arrived at the indoor christmas market and cafe. After this amazing experience we headed towards Celebration to experience the snow rink, where children were playing trying to make snowballs but unfurtunately it was foam. Lots of lights and decorations to see and an array of shops and restaurants to visit and of cause santa clause

Fun event with pretty lights. A bit of a wait in line for the trolley, but it is popular event. Glad we went and the town and lights filled us with the Christmas spirit.
